Hebrews 1:2 "but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world."
Not only did God speak to the people of Jesus' time through Jesus Christ (the Son), but even today he speaks to us through Jesus. The four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) are full of his words that he spoke while he was down here and we can apply everything he said back then to us right now. The bible does not become outdated, and if we very much want to hear God's voice. We must search and love his son's words.
